My name is David Rutherford and I am the owner and woodworker of Rutherford & Sons Woodworking. I have a Beautiful wife Named Joni and we have 3 boys.

I was born and raised in a small Louisiana town called Many. Growing up, I watched and sometimes helped my mom and dad build things around our house. Mom was always into arts and crafts and Dad was always remodling the house.

After highschool, I got into the Oilfiled and worked on rigs for 16yrs. Around 2019 I picked up the hobby of woodworking. In 2021 I left the oilfield to work from the house in my woodworking shop.

Since 2021 I have owned and operated my business that specializes in furniture, home decor and accessories that are tailor-made to fit what you are looking for. The entire process, from identifying the clients needs, designing the piece and selection of material to building and getting it into the hands of its new owner is what really drives my passion. I love the creative process and put the same care and effort into every projects both big and small.
