Below you will find a list of Frequently Asked Questions that relate to Offerman Woodshop. If you don’t find an answer to your question below, please contact us and we’ll do our best to answer you in a prompt manner.

Sales & Shipping

If I buy a Product from the store, when will it be delivered?

Expect 4-6 weeks for your build to be completed and delivered. Custom piecec take time to build and I build in order that i recieve the orders. So the timeframe really depends on the amount of orders I have at the time you place your order. On average 4-6 weeks. If you need it rushed I will rush it but it will be a FEE involved for skipping over other orders. If you need it rushed please feel free to message us before you place your order.

I just bought my product but don’t see any tracking number, will I get one?

No because i deliver almost 90% of the time in person. so you will never received a tracking number . what you will recieved is phone calls/texts from me asking when is a good time for me to deliver it and pictures of the build during the process.

Where do you ship to?

I deliver almost anywhere in the CONUS (48 states). If it doesnt let you checkout it is because you are in a state outside of my usual delivery areas. so Please message me. but as with any delivery service, the further away from Louisiana you are (71449) the more shipping will be.

I am in a hurry to get the product – can I get an Express shipping service?

If you really truly need something in a hurry then please contact us in advance and we’ll consider it. Generally speaking the shipping cost will at least double for us to send something Priority Express and we are not always able to respond to your needs in such a manner. It all depends on our orders at the time.

My product has a slight imperfection; is this refundable, or just part of the whole “handmade craft” thing?

One of our primary attractions in making hand-made wooden products is the charming idiosyncrasies inherent in working with a medium (trees) that is always changing. No single piece of wood looks like any other, and as such they are all perfectly imperfect! So the answer is yes – it’s a part of the whole hand-made craft thing. The world has many other avenues available to procure something that looks exactly like it does in the catalog, but fortunately our shop is not one of those avenues.

Product Care

How do I take care of my cutting board

While your new wooden cutting surface will inevitably take some nicks and stains, we recommend oiling a couple times a year with any food safe oil.

General Questions

Do you have a Furniture Showroom?

We don’t have a Furniture Showroom, as all of our projects are one-off commissions. However, we are working on getting a bigger shop to have a showroom built in.

Return & Exchange Policy

Do to everything being custom build to order. I do not accept returns or exchanges. If there is any problems with your order or your order was damaged during shipment. I will build a replacement or fix whatever is needed. I do deliver everything myself so I try to take as much care for your order as possible. But if any issue should come up, I will build a replacement or fix depending on what the issue is.
